Please complete the form by clicking the button above with as much detail as possible so we can ensure proper muzzle threading for your firearm. Be sure to include the make, model, and caliber of your rifle, and let us know if you’d like the barrel cut down prior to threading (please specify the final barrel length you want after the cut). Accurate information helps us match the correct thread pitch and deliver the best possible fit and finish for your setup. If we believe that your muzzle device thread size is not large enough, we will recommend another device before you bring in your rifle
We require that we have the muzzle device you wish to be installing. We have found that there can be great tolerance differences in the threads of a muzzle device, even in the same manufacturer. Because of this, we will cut it to match a muzzle device, not a specific class of fit. this ensures the perfect fit for your components.
Once you submit your information, you’ll be placed on our wait list, the live list can be found below. When you’re “on deck”, that means you’re the next customer in line. At that point, we’ll give you a call so you can bring your rifle in for work. We use this system not only to manage our limited storage space, but also to make sure you’re not without your rifle any longer than necessary, especially during the busy hunting seasons.
After we call to let you know your on deck, you have two weeks to bring in the rifle. If you are unable bring in the firearm in that timeline, we will move to the next rifle.
the current waitlist can be found below.
Important Warnings
-
Any sections of the barrel that are cut will not have any protective finish applied after machining. If your barrel is not stainless steel, these areas may be prone to rust.
-
Cutting muzzle threads will shift your rifle’s point of impact, and installing a muzzle device (e.g., brake, flash hider, etc.) may change it further. A fresh zero is strongly recommended after the work is completed.
-
While extremely uncommon, cutting tools can occasionally break during machining. If that happens, we may need to remove and re-cut a small portion of the muzzle threads. In rare cases, this could result in the loss of up to 5/8" of barrel length and/or require the muzzle crown to be re-cut.
-
How "pretty" or shinny the threads look is determined by a number of factors, the largest of which are out of our control. The concentricity and straightness of your barrel plays a large part in this, as well as the consistency and type of barrel steel ( a hard section in the barrel will cut different than the rest)
